Yes, he has proven himself to be a good manager in the past.
He has been however out of work for 3 years since his last managerial job in the top flight went a bit wonky at Man City. He has self-admitedly said that he completly stopped following football in a year or so. To give someone with that recent track record and lack of current knowledge a job at a Premiership club (not least to say, one that was in dire need for a bit of stability) is utterly farcical and nothing but a nostalgia led publicity stunt.

Yes he is the answer ,but they arn't his type of players at the moment , in 2 seasons time we'll see the difference , maybe even next season .
16/1 to win the league next season we are at the moment , the coca cola that is .
What a mess at the moment though , i would say it's down to poor team selection by Keegan . Alan Smith as a defensive midfielder he he , Nick Butt running around like a headless chicken and can't pass to save his life , 2 goalkeepers who can't even kick the ball , although Harper would get my vote over Given .
And the selections up front ? Owen aint the answer when he's got nothing to feed off , why dosn't Keegan try him up top with Martins ? it's beyond me like , i understand the Viduka thing he's just a lazy feker .
Also what the hell do Newcastle united do to Spaniards , we seem to turn them into shite overnight .

Yup. It was a fairly transparent attempt from Ashley to try and win over the fans by bringing their 'messiah' back, which is now spectaculary blowing up in everyones faces.
They actually would've been better off sticking with Allardyce, if nothing else they'd have a bit of stability at the club and not this fucking circus they've currently got going on there.

Yup. Hes been that bad. Hes nowhere near being a top manager - for his own sanity he should quit now and never consider doing it again.
Newcastle must be absolute worst club to manage for someone as sensitive and potentially unstable as he is. The fans are utter cunts.
