Keegan: Not the brightest

To this day, the culprits have never been identified. However, in 2000, footballer Les Ferdinand boasted that he had been a member of the gang who trashed the Blue Peter garden. Having misjudged just how the public might react to such an admission, though, he later recanted the claim.

Suppose it could have been him and Wisey up to no good. They're about the same age.

In fact, I take it back. It may well have been:

Ferdinand was friends with Chelsea star Dennis Wise during their youth in the White City area of west London, near to the BBC's Television Centre.

But he added that he was not prepared to say whether pint-sized England midfielder Wise was involved in the crime.

"I'm not at liberty to say whether Dennis Wise was one of them," said Ferdinand.

Keegan's gone, hopefully the next manager will see sense and throw Joey Barton to the lions. Though Dennis Wise is the front runner, I seem to rember he was convicted of biting a taxi drivers nose whilst he was a player.
Didn't he break a team mates jaw while he was at Leicester? he sued them when they dismissed him over it.
