Yeah the fat and salt content are not a shock (although from its constituent parts - lean lamb, pitta, fresh salad and yoghurt or chilli sauce it shouldn't be) but the different species stuff is a bit

Always Lamb shish for me, not in pitta but in rolled flat bread- preferably from a proper kebab shop on Green Lanes - delicious and low fat
- dont really understand why one would want a doner when theres a shish option. Doesn't have to be unhealthy.

I much prefer shish to doner kebabs. Sometimes, though, when you're three sheets to the wind and in need of munchies there's nothing quite like a greasy doner. I always regret it the next day, though...

The pork thing doesnt shock me, having been teased about missing cats by nasty people from St Helens for a good while now.

Ive seen frozen cylinders of mystery meat being delivered to kebab joints, it was very League of Gentlemen. It looked so wrong that I cant remember not eating one in the UK for some time.

Oh for a decent shwarma or gyros!
