Must be all those lemons!!
I am not a Kate Nash fan, by the way. I am not even sure if I have even heard a Kate Nash song.
She's better than that cunt Andrew Neill.
Yeah. I see through you.
Dil loves Kate Nash.
Haven't seen Daily Politics for ages (I miss Jenny ). I think fair play to her for having a go, just wasn't sure what she, and the piece in general, was doing there.
If it had been connected to something in the news - fair enough.
If she's been someone who was able to bring a new perspective, or offer new insight - fair enough.
As it was all that was basically said was anything someone with average intelligence could say. I didn't think she was particularly bad or embarassing, just genuinely couldn't see the point in the whole exercise.
Oh, and for the record I'm a bit of a secret Kate Nash fan and have something of a crush on her
Feature was still pointless though
I miss Jenny as well.
The whole format just seems kind of pointless, really. I mean, they do try and keep on topic, but it is almost always just a lot of empty hot air. Kate Nash almost made it seem fresh and exciting.
I emphasize the almost.
When this can be said, you have a program in trouble:
I think it is on merely to fill up the BBC's terrestrial factual quota, or something.
At least Diane didnt pull as patronising a tone as when the Cheeky girls were on this week. Actually it was quite amusing when they were on if I recall, because their video piece was promoting some horrific idea and then they totally undermined it and said the opposite when they were in the studio.
I dont like Andrew Neil but I find the program strangely watchable.
She did look a bit out of her depth...
So bizzare to start a thread, in general, like we are all watching the same TV channel at the same time.
Fuck off like. Go smell your hair/flies/whatever else pops into your shrivelled head you think other people are interested in.
I guess the problem here is that unless a celebrity is saying it they think no one will listen. Universities etc full of people who are well read, researched and articulate on most things but why ask them when you can get a lapdancer/xfactor contestant/singer. Its "make politics accessible" thing - rather than stop with the empty hypocritical rhetoric that turns people off when it comes to political discussion featuring politicians the assumption is made that the proles dont understand it and thats why they turn off - so make it spangly with graphics and bring in a Cheeky Girl for a pov.
If the issue was to get a female who has experienced sexism in the music industry then maybe someone who had been in it a little longer than Kate Nash might have been better equipped. General point rather than specific as in the manner of an MP objecting to a film with bottoms in it I did not actually see the programme.
Terrible business, people having to show off their body to get a job in the media
Who is she?!
She is his carer - you can tell she is helping him from his commode. (Oneilsit not ageist)
She's great. It's like an unadulterated Eliza Doolittle belting out the tunes. fantastic.
Alright, firky. Good to hear you're well.
I'm great mate. Happy George's Day.
She's really like that. My mate went to school with her.
You are dead inside.
I saw her dueting with Billy Bragg on youtube. It was like they'd found each other. If only Bill was 20 years younger and didn't have such a big hooter.
That video has helped convert me from being a h8ter to a luver with Nash Weird cos I can't stand Billy Bragg ???
Another cracking song. She's looking good aswell. Love that little pixie nose.
and Melody Gardot......?
Separate names with a comma.
