US government bans agencies from using Russian software over spying fears
That pretty much sucks for Kaspersky. Let's hope Russia starts banning American random products on similarly vague suspicions.
On the other hand...

I use it as I get it free from being a Barclays customer. Used it for years, not had a problem with it....although I am awaiting the inevitable blackmail email from a Russian location after it's probably reported to someone everything I've done.
I think the problem is that it's not NSA/GCHQ'dable. :-(
