They are fucking dreadful, really. Here in Leicester, they do seem to get a perverse brand of hero worship - just 'cos they're local like. But then again, musically Leicester hasn't had much to shout about over the years - Diesel Park West, Crazyhead, Showaddywaddy . . . I suppose Gaye Bykers On Acid in principle, but not otherwise. Anyway, yes, Kasabian - repellent, unimaginative tosh, with just the most ludicrous lead singer. You'd get lynched for saying that here, though.
