what crapness? kasabian? yeah the crapness of kasabian, there's no chance you could mean girls aloud, only a daft twerp would say that

This takes me back a few years to when Daphne & Celeste played Reading and the rockist indie press, primarily the Melody Maker (which interestingly no longer exists), went ape shite criticising the promoters because D&C weren't "real" music, whatever that means. I mean how dare they take a slot away from the might of Toploader or JJ72.

Just to confirm in case anyone was in any doubt, both Girls Aloud and Daphne & Celeste rule more than a ruler factory, or something.

daphne and celeste at reading was the silliest thing ever and there is no place for anyone miming at reading, fuck that.

The crowd showed exactly what they thought of them though so all is well i guess. The little eminem stalking bastards.

Oh there is no place for toploader either!

but V is different there has always been the odd pop act playing there, all siants and shugababes have certainly played there can't think off the top of my head who else but there is a tradition of it.

Have kasabian learnt how to do more then one song yet? Almost everything they do sounds the same, hateful band.

i like kasabian and think they are a great band but they are a bit to ernest for their own good. come on guys you really arnt as good as you think you are.

Maybe they ought to look at the fact that GA really are quite revolutionary, in that they've now superceded their origins as Pop Idol products. That's really just an afternote to their subsequent career. I like to think that some indie kids have half a brain to see that a lot of the songs they like have have some parallels with the structure of chart pop, eg. the hook-laden stuff of Franz Ferdinand, etc.

And I definitely would. Apart from Nicola. And Kimberley. And Nadine.

You know their names too?

I was going to say if this turns into a 'which one would you bang' as it inevitably must, could we number them left to right?

kimberley walsh

nadine coyle
cheryl cole (nee tweedy)

completly agree. but then most people would think i have shite taste in music. hate indie elitist types though.

good stuff

I went to school with a friend whose sisters boyfriends second cousins mum used to babysit for Kasabian.

V seems to be the indie festival of the moment and you gotta admit girls aloud are a joke. Sure they are fit and nice to look at but so is misty from pokemon. Not something I'd like to listen to at a festival anyway.

They are playing a secret gig Monday night in Leicester, if you queue up at the local HMV before 8am the first 150 people get a wristband and the location.

Ok going left to right. 1 to 5 obviously....because i do refuse point blank to learn their names.

And going only by this picture as I believe this is possibly the first time I have ever set eyes on them...

1 definately, like a bit of office tart. 2, nah not my type at all, 3, dunno hard to tell, but not from that picture, 4 DEFINATELY FUCKING NOT! 5, yeah wouldn't kick her out of bed for dropping crumbs.
