    Shit. Remember him as a player growing up and he'd just got Orient up. :(

    Sad news , he did a great job at the Orient . Remember him playing at Tottenham , and he was a decent manager at the lower levels. 49 is way too young :(

    He looked like a good managerial prospect at Newport and Gillingham, although I know less about his record at Orient.

    I didn't know he was from Basildon.

    Awful news. Orient fans are in shock so soon after seeing him celebrate our promotion. Such a sad loss. Condolences to his family & friends.

    One of the unsung footie heroes fpr spurs who helped save us from going bankrupt as s club by winning the FA Cup in 1991...without that we were in real danger of going under.

    Was fondly remembered at WHL.

    Hope the fact thstheis still held is sich high regard by spurs fans nearly 2 decades after he left gives a little comfort to his loved ones.
