Actually, between West Ham and Sheff Utd it's 1 - 0 to us, the other arbitration cases were 2 - 0 to the Premier League (altho the second panel said if they had conducted the original panel they'd have come to a different conclusion and also said West Ham got away with cheating and lying, so really between the two clubs it's 2 - 0 to Sheff Utd)We'll see. It's still 2-1 to us in arbitration terms.
Not going to do any squirming because there is nothing to squirm over.

at last! now this is a predicament. you're psychic.![]()
Run this past me... I support neither of the clubs and was led to believe that the player in question was signed by the previous administration. . . . . . but, another club only score something like 8 goals in away matches, lose the last game of the season which they only had to draw to stay in the premiership and yet are blaming another team/club. . . . . because they won their games. How many goals did the 'new' player score in his supposed rescue of the club?
Couldn't any team that was relegated claim that?
Seems a little strange to an onlooker.
This is the only tribunal that West Ham have been at, so no tribunal has ever found on West Ham's "side"Wasn't the first tribunal independent too? You know the one that CR thought was corrupt, the one which found more on WHU's side!
All of a sudden independant tribunals are great cos they decide in Sheff Utd's favour, funny that!
Well I don't think we'll ever agree on this, so why don't we let the arbitration panel decide, oh, they already did and they said I WAS RIGHT AND YOU WERE WRONG (in their official press release)

If West Ham want to take things further, they'll have to explore a different avenue like we did after the original rulings (where we took the Premier League to court). We won't agree to go to another arbitration panel as we just won, so I have no idea where West Ham can take it cos it certainly won't be against us (the decision by this panel was final) so maybe it'll be against your former Chairman or ironically it might be against the Premier League for not relegating you in the first place!![]()
You're absolutely bonkers.
Erm nothing I said in that post is incorrectYou're absolutely bonkers.
Justice, he supports justice in footballBonkers like a nutjob. Who do you support, that you loathe West Ham so much?
Just a thought, and this is in all seriousness. If the PL had deducted three points from WHU in the first place and Sheff U had still been relegated, would we still have all this compo stuff. What if 6 points wasnt enough to save Sheff U, or 9 points etc. How mcuh of a deduction was enuff for it to be fair?
What happens this year if Luton stay up in Div2, does a relegated club launch a claim stating that 32 points of whatever it was wasn't a big enuff punishment? What if Watford miss out on safety, or the Prem by one point do they sue the referee? We are entering very dangerous territory folks which threatens to complete the destruction of the beautiful game!

Er no you fucking cheated and lied, let's get our facts right shall we?There's no disputing that we (i.e. Brown et al) were pretty fucking stupid, mostly in the clumsy attempts to bodge through tricky questions
Points shouldn't have come into it, it should have been automatic relegation no matter where anyone finished in the leagueJust a thought, and this is in all seriousness. That's not the point, you broke it deliberately and concealed it so you could sign two international super stars that had you not deliberately broke the rules to sign, would never have signed for West Ham at allLets be honest. we broke a very technical rule

A clause that would have prevented you from signing the players in the first place is cheating considering you did buy them...Cheated, no, unless you count having a clause in a contract that could only actually hurt us as cheating.
No you're falling for the bullshit spread about by that fat West Ham fan...Didn't you have the same clause but actually invoke it? Isn't that worse?
