Justice = Big fat phoneys

I'm with Bees on this (mostly, the idea they are great because they do it all live is spurious frankly) and we've been through it all before, tiresomely.
You don't like them. That doesn't mean they are 'fucking dreadful live'

It means you are, indeed, made of fail.

Are we really reducted to saying

"well, I didn't like them live, but I guess they're very good if you like that sort of thing?"

has it come to this? :D

I'd contend that

I didn't like them and No, I just disagree

are about the same in the context, as are

THey get a good sound live, sure, but it just lacks balls

I guess they're very good if you like that sort of thing

:p:p

eta:

the problem seems to be the odd concept of 'actively' disliking something

Justice plugging it back in after the lead fell out according to the warehouse project's photographer.

Seems a lot more likely to me than them not playing live - having put on shitloads of live electronic acts over the years I can confidently say that every one of them has been playing live, and a fair few times we've had a cable come out or something similar mid set and had to sort it out.

No way would Justice have got to where they are now by faking it IMO

Do people really care whether a little piece of equipment is plugged in or not? Surely the point of pop music is that it sounds good, not how it's made.

If a band are saying that they are playing live, and people are paying to see them pay live, then of course it matters.
