I was given a packet of them the first day I ever went to school. I'm still getting over it. *vomits and cries*

:D

my gf loves them - we recently tracked some down in her home town of Glossop ('You'll never leave'), and they were as bad as I remembered them - and they really stick to your teeth and they taste like earwax.
She ate the lot.

*goes green and yellow*

Blurgh.

I'll tell you something else that's wrong. Oysters, that's what. Like drinking someone elses snot. Yeuch.

Do you mean Parma Violets? Yeah, weird things (I have to admit I quite liked them - though half the reason I bought them was so no-one else would nick them)

Cheestrings - wrong

Dairylea Lunchables - also wrong

Kraft Cheese Singles - yep, wrong as well

All wrong, so wrong *shakes head*

Stinky runny cheese on oatcakes - looks so wrong, but it feels so right!

when i was on holiday in bavaria they made me eat sausages and jam  apparently it's a regional speciality. i have my suspicions...

oysters - wrong
whelks - wrong
pizza and chips - wrong (tho roman potato pizza - lush. i don't make the rules)
boiled mushrooms - ugh so wrong
also in greasy spoon breakfast vein: cold tinned tomatoes - like eating someone's internal organs, and therefore- wrong
granny smith's - NOT an apple

erggh - they're 'orrible as well... nah these are called Flower Gems or something...

Wensleydale cheese eaten with Christmas cake. Jam on cold yorkshire puds.

Both allegedly Yorkshire traditions that are just plain wrong.

I don't see what the problem is with mixing fruit and meat. So many recipes.

Pork and apple sauce.
Turkey and cranberries.
Duck a l'orange.
Cock au vin.
etc
etc
:p <licky lips smilie>

Mmmm........cheese and mince pies is also lush! Plus golden syrup on cold yorkshire puds. Or butter and sugar. Yes I am from the north although not from yorkshire. My boyfriends family used to have neat orange squash on cold yorkshires...now that IS weird :D

I agree with all of these as well except lettuce - love it (especially the floppy green stuff you don't see so much of these days)

Apricots with lamb - yeuchh
Potato salad, in fact any salad with starchy things like pasta and rice in them - starchy things should be served warm, not cold.

nylon gussets *shudder*
nylon socks
nylon sheets

(sensitive dispositions look away now)

my sister being able to fannyfart to order :D now that is WRONG
