Just got my new PC bits through - Construction advice?

Definately up the voltage to the RAM.

Initially my system didn't really work at all, only posted 1 in 3 and then constant crashing until I upped that voltage from 1.8v to 1.985v.

I can't seem to be able to change my ram voltage, it is set to 1.9. Would it be safe to do with the MSI utility that came with board called Dual Core Centre?

Any one any idea how to change voltage on a MSI motherboard? The option is grayed, got the full manual from here, but still dont understand why I can't adjust them.

Not found anything on google yet, here is a screen shot taken from the manuel with the options on that screen.

Edit: how do I display the image, rather then just linking to it?

Try the level up in the menus, you may have something like DRAM configuration set to optimised rather than manual.

I presume the manual isn't helping?

To include an image use image tags : [img&] [/img&] (without the &)

Doh! I just tried the +/- keys on the numeric keypad and they worked.

Put both sticks of ram back in and now going to find a way to max it out. Any good suggestions? Downloading crysis demo but its a 1.8gb download, so will take a while on my connection.

3d Mark is a good all round stress test tool. If you can run that a few times and it doesn't crash then you're off to a good start. After that there's prime 95 and RTHDRL or whatever it's called to throw everything but the kitchen sink at the graphics card and Memtest to check the RAM.
