nah, not as good as chumbawamba.

how is PTV Live In A CoalBunker In Bremen anyway? as good as the other 22?

dunno. i got an extended version of live in rekjavik (sp?) the other day that has some truly unlistenable tracks on it.

it's a cleaner copy than the other version i have though, so not a complete waste...

Collapsed Lung were fucking great, you monkey
scares self that him and dub are ont he same musical page... summit's up withthe space time continum dub we need to break out of this dive sharpish or there's a whole world of fuckry will be meated out on our heads....

PWEI weren't a "rap rock" band by any means. yes they had rap elements, they had rock elements, but they had house, techno, dub, a whole myriad of influences and flavours. calling them "rap rock" does them a great injustice.

you could say the same about senser, and any number of fusion nonsense around at the time.

doesn't make 'em any less shite though.

:p

I like Nothing by A. but i don't want to talk about it :D
say no more.

say no more.

(actually i will say some more: at 14 we physically prevented A from playing Deconstruction by having a bottle riot for about half an hour. Was the first one i had ever seen, was truly amazing. London Arena started playing classical music to get us to stop, so kind of hilarious saurday morning cartoon logic there - ''Punks - they can't stand the sound of opera! Give it to 'em!!''
A eventually played a couple of songs. Pennywise headlined and the place went sick. Year or 2 later they tried to sneak Lost prophets onto the fucking bill, they got personally bottled that time. Looked really upset :D)

I went to both of them. I wasn't 14 at either though! London Arena security were a bunch of cunts if I remember rightly.

Obviously, I've only read the first couple of posts, but:

yeah chucking random people out willy nilly. Did get us to stop tho...

Was just looking in the bin...

You rascals! Thats really mean :(

How can youn not like what i like? Happy hardcore is way better than house, its so obvious.

;)

PS yes i do prefer the killers to the fucking white stripes - why would you even compare the two?! So hate me for wanting to be entertained :p

Surely it was, "Alan Ball, knows the score..."?? It makes sense too, Ball being a footy pundit.

Or are you all being comic-world ironic? :(

PWEI are tremendous though, at least on "This is the hour...this is this" (being the album you must have, Welf) and the one I have on vinyl back at home in the loft. It's got Sheriff Fatman on it and a Spanish name. Can't be arsed with googling it. They're just ace fun, non? Guess you think non.

Ah well. P W E I - as much a movement as a sound, I used to feel. ;)

I'm on about Dos Dedos, yes. But there is a Sheriff something on it, no...? Right, I'm off googling, sick of being wrong  rolleyes etc

All right then, it's called Fatman. I remember now. Along with Cape Connection I remember enjoying the end of the album muchly. About 10 years ago, all the same...

Bloody pedants
