What ? Chirpy Burpy Cheap Sheep was one of my favourite ever Father Ted episodes and it never, ever jumped the shark.

Oh, and Lost jumped the shark when they killed off Ana Lucia.

No way, i don't think i've ever cheered louder at a charaters death, i hated her.

They only killed her off because the actress who played her – Michelle Rodriguez – had been sent to prison for drink-driving. It made no sense in story terms whatsoever, especially as she'd been one of season two's main characters. I thought she was fascinating myself – and not just because I fancy the arse off Michelle Rodriguez

They killed Lex?! Christ, I didn't know that. I liked that show far more than I do Smallville, though, which is just Dawson's fucking Creek with some super powers chucked in.

Yeah, I think tongue-in-cheek is the only way Superman can be played tbh. IIRC Lex got rumbled as a wrong'un just as he was about to marry Lois, then he jumped off the top of his skyscraper.
