I've never written anything before so I'm amazed I've won, I am really over the moon

I'm so glad people liked it. Thanks to everyone who voted for me, and everyone else who contributed some great stories to the competition. Also thanks to everyone who's given me their feedback on the thread and by pm.

In particular I should thank the poster who's been an awesome friend to me over the past year or so and without who's inspirating example I'd have never written anything, let alone have the confidence to let other people read it.

Anyway, this months competition title will be...

Making notes of my ideas and being enthused for a day is one thing. Writing the fucker is an entirely different matter

I'm very impressed that CDL and Belushi don't do any writing at all. Perhaps that's the way to do these things sometimes. I do a lot of writing and tried to make mine into a mini novel whereas just writing about something short and simple is sometimes better

Not Stokers exclusive style, lot's of shit from that era was done the same. Even Frankenstein used verbal/written accounts as a narrative framing mechanism.

You can't, as far as I can see.

You can post anonymously as replies to posts, but I've been through the options and the only way to post is as an invitee.

I'm leaving it till the 15th to let ideas coagulate in my mind ennit. Then five days writing, five for edits.

Your topic title is forcing me to think up something vampy but original. Half Light is just so ripe for vampy fiction
