I would. I think you'd attract more writers and more voters while providing sufficient space to develop idea. And, as importantly, sustain momentums.

It really is about time, imo.

This is the PWC. The People decided 3000 words was an adequate length.

It stays at that length or you take it to poll and see what word count the people think best.

Thing is, 3000 does seem long enough to start developing bits of the story a bit more, which was how mine ended up way over in the first place.

If even at that length there aren't huge numbers of voters, I reckon it could go down to 2000...

My vote is to stick with the 3,000 word limit, if only because of the massive headache I had whittling my entry down even that far :(

I just voted

Tough call as there were a couple I really liked, but one really swung it for me

Err - is the anonymity just for the writers like? Am I allowed to say what I voted for?

Ok cheers

I voted for Raven

I would now like to know who wrote it :D So err, pm me if you would like me to know, whoever you are :D

The other two I really liked were The Clinic, and Tom Boys, but Raven just about swung it for me

authors: be considering themes for next month. If you win and umm and arr for a week or two over theme, people are going to think ill of you.

FFS will the author of 'This Time' please vote for his/herself.

Assuming everyone else has voted for themselves, you've managed to get 14 non-participants to plough through the lot, so far.

When's the deadline on voting?
