Many thanks Ms T that was a nice and interesting walk :) Like the stuff about Molly Clap or what ever her name was... Did not expect to be passing work on a Sunday :D

Glad you came along Vixen nice to meet boohoo hope it was / we were not to scarey :)

Photos to follow :)

thanks for a good walk with interesting facts. it's an interesting area to walk around in, with a ritch history.

was nice to see everyone as well.

comicstripgirl got a bit tierd towards the end so we shot of early since we were just accross the road from our bus home.

:)

Thanks for a nice day out :)
Well if you haven't heard it before my middle name these days is "I'm a little tired" so should probably rephrase 'heaven is made of honey' to something that's got to do with sofas/beds/sleep, I'll think of something Liberty ;)

Still waiting to start to 'bloom' properly, but I can feel it coming......

Anyway should go to bed now, Good night everyone!

Nice pix! Sorry to have missed this one.

Fact! I used to work above the Clink Museum when the area was totally run down.

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves -- sorry if it was a little on the long side. :o

Tomas & comicstripgirl: I assume from reading the thread you are pregnant. I had no idea! Congratulations.

Thanks for the great walk, Ms T. I will be sending me ma and pa to look at the remains of the Whitefriars building.

Thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome. It was lovely to meet you all.

:D

Thanks for a highly enjoyable and informative walk Ms T (and Mrs Magpie, re: Old Bailey) and nothing wrong with the length - long walks rule. :)

Excellent pictures Ms T and Liberty (great to meet you properly this time); sorry to spoil that one in the Black Friar by looking so glum (strange, cos I wasn't at all). :D

Great to see folks again, and a pleasure to meet you, boohoo - I hope there were no shock fraggle-munching incidents after we left! ;)

nice pics!
thanks for the words liberty- and the ear! :)
sorry i was a bit down.
look forward to the next walk though!

Thanks! :)
It's a December baby, so very small at this stage but I had a second scan this morning and could watch it wave her/his little arms :D

This baby seem to be happy waving in there :) and fiddling with the hands in the face.
It's such a weird thing to look into your own body and see a little baby moving in there! :D

That was a top walk. Well done Ms T for furnishing us with all those juicy facts about notorious London. I vote we send Nate to work in a Molly House!

Great to meet boohoo, was impressed by your knowledge of London history and other things!

It was also fantastic to meet Blind Lemon - fresh from a killer set at Offline - and discuss the finer points of the Stevie Wonder back catalogue with he and Maggot (including the sublime 'Don't Drive Drunk').

And the bronze/gilt-type wallpaper in that penultimate pub was something else entirely...must get some for the flat, eh. :D
