July 26/27 Indietracks festival. Steam trains, indie bands, Wedding Present + more!

Anyone catch Red Pony Clock from San Diego?

We had them at the Windmill last night and they're playing Gramophone on Wednesday.

Good fun, indie-pop mini orchestra kind of thing.

What a wonderful weekend. I almost don't want to post here as that will be admitting it's over. Fantastic bands, lovely people, great atmosphere, drinking til the early hours at the campsite, loads of impromptu gigs everywhere, on train platforms, in tea tents, just people hanging out and playing just for the joy of it. Much much bigger than last year - about 1100 in, which felt perfect, plus a new outdoor stage, and a tea tent stage too. May it run and run...!
