Nothing blows my mind as much as Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk....it's too cool for 'jukebox' as this is a Blue Note classic.
This is the best piece of music I have ever heard. Some describe it as punishing but its really not. I really want heads with good taste to hear this and talk about it. The only people I ever talk about it with, are my pals from the Alabama 3 who are massive Monk fans like me....and jazz friends....i would LOVE if Urbans got into it... (but you don't have to).
How is it too cool for a jukebox? Jukeboxes are cool.
And you seem to be making out that Urban 75 posters aren't into jazz, whilst ignoring the many threads in which jazz is discussed.
That was going to be my first suggestion. OK, this instead/as well:
OK, 'Dancing the Night Away' is probably the more obvious choice but I prefer this:
unfortunately this runs at 33rpm otherwise it would be very good value (well not at those prices but you can find it cheaper I'm sure) GG Allin - Public Animal #1
How about some Stiff label stuff... Lene Lovich maybe?
I would actually love a jukebox to fill up... need to get a place to live that fits one first.
Every juke box in the world should have one classic tune from the golden days of jukeboxes..... Like this
Hey ringo, you're going to need this:
And also this:
jukeboxes featuring kenny rogers and/or m-people should be set on fire.
There won't be a jukebox left if you get your way.
Gorgeous album, its kind of messy but fun chaos. I really recommend this
"we had to destroy the jukebox in order to save it"
See if you can spot miss the vendor.
