JSA and going on holiday??

Mikey77 said:
You're just digging a deeper hole for yourself. Your objection as you stated was to me being able to:

Now that objection to holiday entitlement is applicable to anyone who is claiming JSA just as it would have been to you when you were claiming. You're a hypocrite  I would like to think you're just explaining yourself badly, but this really seems to be the pot calling the kettle black.
yawn

No it isn't. In most jobs people have every right to phone in sick or take holiday period without being talked to like a c*nt by their employer. Are you advocating unemployed people being treated differently or something??

There's no point persisting in trying to lecture me because you have no idea what I have been doing to find work, how many applications I have sent, how often I turned up to sign on, how many times I went to the jobcentre to look for work when I wasn't there to sign on. Don't talk to me like I'm fuckin lazy unless you have some evidence to back it up.
What are you if not lazy?

I know you're someone who wants to live for free off the hard work of others.
Your opening post is said without a hint of irony. Why does someone who does no work merit a fucking holiday at all? And how do you pay for it? I work hard, pay fuckloads of tax which I see wasted on shit like transgender awareness courses or lesbian outreach co-ordinators for the police and cash for extremists like Bakri and Hamza to freeload in a country they hate and yet I can afford few holidays.

I hope you have a pleasant time Freeville, Benefitland.

Ha, presumably you know through your extensive research in the deep text of the Daily Mail and the Sun. You've really got us unemployed sussed haven't you?? Anyway, got to go and count my giros now. Bye :)

You still on a mid 1980s made up newspaper story trip Kenny?
What absaloute bollocks.

I pay a shed load of tax and tbh I'd rather it was spent on someone's £50 a week JSA (how fucking generous) than dropped as bombs over Iraq.

Says it all really... Why should someone need to skive off to to another country when they don't have anything to do in this one. If you're longterm unemployed and can afford to go on holiday then  at you.

Don't be a complete cunt Jaed huh?

People who are long term unemployed often work fiddle jobs for cash cos you can hardly survive long term on the dole. If they manage to salt away a bit of money and then want to escape the humdrum existence then fair play to them.

Fucking    at you too.

Wanker.

I doubt that - he seems to revel in being a fucking miserable cunt (don't think I've ever seen him use any smiley except the  either). :p

Jaed probably thinks that the unemployed should just receive food vouchers.
Wouldn't want them having any sort of choice about what they spend their money on after all!

Fucking prick.

:p

Please don't take this personally, but:
You mean-spirited, ungenerous, unkind, unsympathetic clot. I bet you think you are a good person too.
You have no understanding of what unemployment is, how it works, or why it happens.
And the evolution of your race of discomfited anti-collective middle englanders is one of the most tragic political happenings in UK civil hostory, IMHO.

So tell me then, why do you not work? There are thousands of jobs advertised in newspapers and the jobcentres all over the country.

You tell me. You seem to be the expert on unemployment. Don't worry, one day those Daily Mail columnists will rule the country and then we'll be sorted out. Anyway, got to go now. I'm seeing what extra grants might be available to me at the taxpayers expense. With my parents being foreign born as well I'm hoping for a free car and furnished flat. Presumably you read all about that on the Bastard Nationalist Party site. :)

having been sigining onlonger than is good for me and actually finally trying to get a job (although had an enjoyable 9 months working with kids in the outdoors for dole plus £10)
the first post was a whinge you get your JSA because you sign on fail to sign on don't get any money nice and simple.
The DWP are fairly accomadating what there not going to do is post you a giro just because you signed on a month or two ago and can't face a grilling :(
personally I think they should be a bit tougher on claiments never in over a year of signing have I ever been questioned on my record of work seeking. theres no offer of realistic help or retraining and pressure consists of the odd rant thats forgotten the next time
Now I am on working links a very dodgy organisation that gets a shed load of other peoples moneys to try and get me a job in the last month I've had 2 meetings with a personal advisor lasting less than 30 minutes total. I'm actually for once making an effort to get a job turned up for this interview bright and ealy suit tie on thought I might get some help did I hell
I think if a private company is getting near enough £5000 to help me into work they could at least put a bit of effort into it :( :(
