Jools Holland new series tonight

The Raconteurs were fucking horrible - sound like Cream or something, some hoary old 60s blues rock band. Winehouse's sound was fucked, especially for Rehab.. Muse actually made Pie Face and I laugh out loud, but not in a bad way, quite.

And Jools is an oily little slug.

i've NEVER been a fan of jools holland,never liked squeeze much either(yeah i know he was only on the 1st lp)
cool he played on jayne countys "fuck off"!
jayne countys book is a good laugh/great read and 100 times more perceptive/interesting than holland would/could possibly write..
i wish jayne countty would replace jools as presenter!

i HATE his boogie woogie piano...WHO does like him,WHO plays to see him live?
these people aint in MY universe,thank fuck!

finally... the way he is so sleeazy/drooling over his female guests was annoying the first time he did it and he hasnt stopped doing it in 10 years he's 50 odd!!! not some schoolboy,no excuse to stare at a womans breasts so obviously..GROW UP mate!!! the lady you are talkin to aint some SPACE ALIEN!

to be fair i dont know if he has full say on who appears on "later with",i expect production does..lets face it, if jools had full power to select his guests the acts would be even more commercial/staid/dad rock-esque!!!! yes the poster who stated the formula is 100 percent accurate!

i admit that i vid the programme to scan thru the next day for cheap laughs..always to fun to see what the latest hyped "product" can do!!!

as far as being turned on to new acts via this medium....
there is a whole wierd and wonderful world out there..find new/interesting music via last fm..not jools

I thought Muse were pretty good on Friday's show. They totally out progged the Raconteurs

I went to the taping of next weeks show. Just Jack were good in a Streetsy kind of way...
