The book in question here is nothing if not "pseudo-intellectual middle-class stuff"which frankly I don't mind it being. It's still entertaining.

Love the book and having spent yesterday evening/afternoon watching the last half of Dr Who season 5 I think the adaptation sounds potentially brilliant, and if it isn't I'll just watch the first episode and leave it and still have the book so it's a win win situation really.

I think TV is probably a better route to go down unless you could do a 150 million 3 film series or summat directed by Guillermo del Toro or someone...
