v unlikely their parly strength will sink that low. Only 2 elections in the past 100 years, iirc, have seen more than 70 seats change hands at a GE; '45 and '97

Looking at John's blog , he seems to be falling into the trap the further reaches of the left have got themselves into: only foreign policy/internationalism is mentioned, theres a little on pensions but thats it, nowt on welfare, housing, crime even, but plenty on fair trade, imperialism, etc. In many ways i think he is trying to get the middle class youth voter, well usually they don't vote. Of couser we should have internationalism, but if he ignores everyday issues, the working class vote will go elsewhere.
