John McCain: next republican candidate

pbman said:
He had much more help than that.

Democrats wrote the book on vote fraud.

Watergate? Tea Pot Dome Scandal? Railroad barons buying Congress? The current corruption in high office? All happened under Republican administrations.

Welcome TokenYank....from Philly, lovely town....ignore PB it's useless to argue or attempt any logical debate with him...enough said!

Now onto the topic at hand who's going to run for the Republicans....
Here's what I think they might try....

Chaney will step down (citing health reasons) in about a year and Dubya will appoint Rudy as his Veep.....perfect timing to step right up two years before the election. I mean really the Republicans would be stupid not to try this and mark my word they've already hashed this plan out and are working out the details as we speak.....

.

ROFLMAO care to put some coin on that one?

Don't disagree, but in the eyes of most "mid-west" republican bushbots he's a hero after 9/11. QUOTE]

He's a moderate rino at best.

And a yankee, they don't do well in the southern swing states.

TRy agian.

i think the point is, the republicans don't yet have anyone who could win in the southern swing states, texas would probably stay with them, courtesy of dubya, but florida is too close to call, and that has a lot of votes, and the louisiana effect might still be in play by then....

as i'm not a u.s citizen, and not a democrat, not sure what you mean by that...but you've already mentioned a possible democrat candidate, hilary clinton.....and the republicans need a big name to take her on...only one i can think of is the ex mayor of new york, gulliani (can't remember how to spell his name) but as you say, he's an easterner, and they don't win republican nominations...

Please try and pay attention (I know that's difficult for you). Watergate was Nixon's attempt to subvert the electoral process. The Teapot Dome Scandal will be eclipsed by what your Leadership has done during its time in power.
