There is a competition at Swansea City for a fan to be included in teh squad for the season and have their name and squad #32 included in programme every week (32 Red are sCFC sponsors). there is now a campaign for the competition to be csrapped and the squad number to be awarded to Big John for the season, a club he never did, but would have loved to have played for.

I think this is a fantastic idea and one which could catch on as a way of remembering ex-players.

Good luck JH, you always gave 100% for whoever you played, hope you can win this one!!

Yes, many forms of testicular cancer are incredibly aggressive and you quickly get secondary cancer in other parts of the body. And as a judge said at the start of her judgment in a recent clinical negligence case, "the particular cruelty of testicular cancer is that it attacks the young".

The Wales football team will wear a specially-designed patch supporting a cancer charity on Wednesday night and their shirts for the friendly against Montenegro will be auctioned on eBay following the game, the Football Association of Wales (FAW) confirmed.

An FAW official said: "We will have patches on the players' shirts for the match supporting a charity that works in aid of a cancer charity, checkemlads.com, specifically for male cancer problems.

"The players are concerned about John's situation. Apart from the patches on their shirts, they will also wear T-shirts during the warm-up for the match with John's name on them.

"Afterwards we will get all their shirts back and then auction them for charity."
