I've a mate who played under Gregory at Wycombe. Fucking hated him. Gregory would've had a million quid for him if he'd not pissed him off so much that he refused to go. Complete ban on going out, phoned his home to check he was in, wouldn't tell any of the squad who was playing until 20 minutes before the game (you could find out from Sky Sports before he'd say), wouldn't listen to any opinions, in public or private, and was just an unapproachable wanker.

After what the squad got up to under Holloway, thats what a few of them need.

He never did anything great at Villa though, he made them an average side and was simply disliked too much (in the same way Gary Megson used to demotivate players) by players for them to care.

His time at Derby was a fucking fiasco. So good luck to QPR fans, you've went from Ian Holloway to this joker in less than a year.

Holloway is lucky in that his public persona helps cover up some of the shocking tactical decisions he used to make. You might not feel as good about him f you were paying £26 to see him play strikers in midfield. I'm not convinced Gregory is any worse yet.
