Joey Barton?

nonamenopackdrill said:
Are you referring to the U11's rounders tournament you reached the final of when you were young (and I think you said a kid was sick so you were allowed to be the 3rd reserve)?
Deary me, that's poor, even for you. U11 Rounders tournament? . Is that the best you can do?

I posted this prior to anyone saying anything else. This was clarification enough. You must have missed it within calling him racist sk.
You posted it up after I had pulled you up about him playing tonight. And I never called him racist, did i?

:D :D

no, you're a big one for screaming 'racist' though.

that you thought that 'he's at goodison' meant he literally was shows your naivety as to how transfers work. you know pennant never set foot at anfield before the £6.75 million had been transferred. Why? Breach of contract and lose your transfer bonus. etc.

Actually, sk, did you know that? A direct question because you're a prime bullshitter.

Still, I must have meant it literally, you tool.

No, he's getting confused. I said that the toffees are a bunch of racist fuckwits. And so Joey would feel pehfectly at home. Taking the piss like, la.

Another backtrack :D

f**k me, what a twat you are.

5.5 mill is his release clause price, hence he's presently at goodison to see what it offers.

He's a blue though, and he's at Goodison!
Now, when you said he was at Goodison you didn't actually mean he was at Goodison, right?

Priceless. :D :D

Did I say me?. I meant my agent.

As I said, quoting facts, it's true. FWIW, I'm happy to admit to being wrong in my terminology (though I was watching the game, as I'd alluded to in starting the thread which was based on a comment made on SS1, so you'd think it'd be thick as pig shit to then attribute something I didn't mean to something I said while watching the programme - still)

Sadly, when we played football together you admitted you'd never seen a game at anfield. Now you're claiming you've been there. Enlighten please?

In the last year, you've obviously been there, and you never commented about it on here.

What are the new facts SK. When have you ever been to Anfield? Or are you one of those desperate for a new stadium who's never been (you know a previous poster here who is banned is using you as a 'typical plastic' on another forum - you may want to visit.

Enjoy.

Back to the original topic, if, as it appears, Barton is not available, it remains to be seen who else Moyes identifies as filling the creative central mid-field chasm.

Creatively we're fine with TC and MA.

It's replacing Carsley where we have probs!

I mean a traditional mid-field general, that we haven't had since Peter Reid, really. Similar to the sort of role Gerard does for the RS, who can drive the team on. Carsley, for all his virtues, is not that man.

Agree. 100%. The missing link, as I said. Grav did it. It wasn't actually his natural game... anyway.
Neville even looks good there ffs!

So has barton actually moved or not?

Interestingly, he may actually be a rare player who wants to stay at his home club, if he's already turned down liverpool. Can't see him moving to Man U, he wouldn't really fit into Chelsea's midfield, and can't see arsenal wanting an english player with his attitude.

I see where I didn't make myself clear (in fact I did an editor and contradicted myself - but I didn't realise people didn't know (it was on SSNews) that his agent is there), but the point is the same.

We're not SS generation mate:D We're all reading Football Pinks and waiting for next week's Saint and Greavsie to round up the transfer news.

Barton would be a good signing. I read Beattie played well when he came on against Reading - I must be about the only person in the world who thinks he will come good eventually.

 Don't really understand that garbled garbage. You were caught out, deal with it.

Why would I, the 'real fan not a plastic' stuff you come out with is priceless. esp now you've admitted watching Sky Sports

I've been to anfield, I don't really care if you believe me or not. LOL at the 'poster on another forum', you'll be saying you've recieved pm's of support next!
nonamenopackdrill said:
I did, this is almost as good as the time I caught you out pretending to go to Goodison. Just as pathetic - and - you guessed it!, Back on ignore.

:D :D

I can't decide if this is a good signing or not. I suspect and hope it will turn out to be. Expensive though.

I don't give a monkeys about him being a thug or owt by the way.

Joey Barton would be a great buy for you, City would be mad to let him go. He is the best player we have by a mile.

You really don't get it, do you. Talking of the Sky Sports generation is not the same as saying football fans shouldn't watch it, you pillock.

A fine endorsement for the people's club. Local boy and fan doesn't even want to play for them. Probably looked at how James Beattie and Simon Davies' careers have gone tits up since joining and realised he was better of at Citeh.

BBC 5 Live reporting this morning that his shitfuck of an agent is still saying he should have been allowed to talk to Everton.

If Pearce could only sign a decent striker to pop in the chances we haved the nucleus of a good team with Distin, Dunne, richards, Onouha, Ireland and of course Barton. Better prospects than at Everton.

I reckon Samaras will come good twisted, I genuinely do.

I wish I shared your confidence, I have seen him a few times now and he's mostly pretty anonymous.

As for Vassel, to think he used to play for England! If we did get a decent striker we could be an ok team, defence and midfield aren't too bad.

He's been here a year though. He needs a solid run with the same striking partner. Thankfully Dickov is injured for the next two months so the situation might resolve itself. Pearce seems to have been chasing some Spanish or Italian striker thus blowing his £2m transfer kitty. He should sign that Ebi Smolarek we were linked with. Would hopefully score more goals from midfield than that sorry lot up front at the moment. He really needs to get that right cos we got six or seven other decent players.

Also the excuse for Barton leaving to further his England career has long gone. Firstly SWP got more caps at City than at Chelsea and it didn't do Micah any harm playing at Eastlands. Weaver next for the call up? I hope so, but then again with his luck he'll rupture his knee again and be out for another seven years.
