That's why it's a good idea to seek some independent advice. It's much more difficult for the agency you're dealing with to misinform if they know that they're talking to an advisor who understands the complex rules. As well as making sure that the problems are sorted out, even if that does take time, as if often does unfortunately. Good luck

Well my dad tried that trick before cause he used to work in a job centre and we managed to get things sorted out last time there was a problem...though im not on good terms with him atm and just can't speak to him at all right now, so cant exactly ask for his help all of a sudden, im just sick of caring for today, thanks though, i will check out that stuff tomorrow.

Ok, heres my day so far. I ring income support to check if its been closed down guess what? they say it hasnt bene closed down. So i ring job seekers allowance, thy say it HAS. so i ring bakc IS, again they say it hasnt, i then go ';what th FUCk am i meant to do? im really angry about this" she warned me about anymore swearing but was still angry, so i got her to talk to JSA, and now they have confirmation that its closed and their system is just fucked. Now im waiting tog et a call back to confirm whether i can get an interm(sp?) payment or not which is something they give you before the account starts..i have a bloody good case for getting one to. These arseholes can kiss my arse. You know why they fuck you around? Because its all a game to get you soooo pissed off tog et you back working again, even if youre not mentally fit enough.Bastards.

Btw might get that payment today if im allowed tog et it.

yeah so now i can go down to the job centre today and geta giro cheque, its only about £46 though, but the good news is my claim will start on christmas eve and thats when i should get the proper money...well £46 is betetr than nothing!

Ok im fucking pissed off. Justphoned them again to see whatw as happening after going down to the job cenrte finding out there isnt a giro cheque there yet(after being told i could go at anytime..) and now ive been told i wont be getting anything till at earliest 24th of december or at latest 27th...so nowim wondering where this £46 is going...its like one person told me i was getting a giro cheque today and someone else has denied me from getting it today, or even at all.

Fuck it to hell. Im done wioth them, this woman who hands the giros out keeps saying 'ohw e dont process claims we just issue them, phone glasgow' and i just did and they keep saying theyve fucking sent the damn thing and its at highgate job centre!! I ended up saying 'i know where this is going, fuck it and fuck YOU' going to make a complaint about this, they're not getting away with making me go there 3 fucking times and 3 times it was the same result after i had been told its there. Im getting a different cheque either tmrw or saturay it seems, but letss ee if that even comes. Just so mad right now. I wasnt the only one having this problem either, i talked tot wo others while waiting who had the exact same shit going on!! Im going tog et my social worker to help me out with this also.

Oh my god...the problems you're having!! I would have hoped that they would have done a counter giro for you instead of relying on the post at this time of year, but it depends on the person making the decision.

I really hope you get it sorted out. If you make a complaint it will be looked at by a manager, but its not really going to help you right now, as it will take time for that to be done.

Got it finally! im glad i swore at her yesterday, think she was too afraid to turn me down infront of a bigger queue this time, that bitch. got another cheque comin through this weekend or monday..finally i can start enjoying christmas.
