I also hate hate the fact that if you buy a TV in tesco's or such they take your name and address to give to the liscence people.

And using the fact that certain DJs earn a lot as an argument for getting rid of the BBC/licence fee is fucking stupid IMHO. The BBC has to appeal to everyone, the fact that people here on Urban think Moyles is a twat (me included) is kinda countered by the fact that millions of people love him and tune in every day.

What astounds me about this is that the BBC (Radio 5 Live, in fact) had the brass neck to run a sensationalist phone-in this week about the very, very small number of doctors who MAY earn UP TO £250,000 a year whilst totally ignoring the fact that it pays a twat like Moyles more than twice that amount to talk over records.

There's been a few breakfast DJ's I've liked over the years. Tarrant way way back... the early days of Chris Evans... not that they didn't irritate some people, but for me they had a bit of cheeky charm.
Then I listened to a couple of Moyles "Best of Podcasts" recently - wondering how the latest breed was getting on - and thought he was (as everyone has commented) a bullying arrogant tosser. I'm surprised he gets the listeners.
