more often than not people use to come in waste their time making them show them all the cameras then piss off to buy the one they liked off the Interweb form places like Amazon that can charge less.

I take it they're no longer doing a price match with Amazon then? I've bought two cameras from them on that basis. Admittedly, the last purchase was a couple of years ago. Seemed like a win - win to me: Internet prices with a human to deal with should things go wrong.
