Jeans. you wear them how long?

I bought a pair of €5 jeans from Al Campo about Six weeks ago. I've worn them everyday since without washing. They're covered with paint splodges and look a mess (complete with crusty turn-ups), but they don't smell.

May do some washing tomorrow.

I always wondered why when you smell someone before you see them on the bus and you have move seats or open a window it's usually someone wearing jeans, and now I know why :p

Why on earth do yous all think that jeans need to be washed less than other clothes?

If any of you smoke too you'll stink and you won't know because you won't be able to smell yourselves

*puts on flameproof suit and scarpers*

I don't clean my work clothes super often, either. They have to be dry cleaned. I find that if I maintain a certain level of personal hygiene, as in showering, and wear clean underwear every day, then I'm taking the clothes to the drycleaners more to remove wrinkles than odours etc.

Unless I spill hot chocolate or Cheezies on them, of course.

Business suits are far worse though. You can't stick them in the wash - and they tend to go ages before getting cleaned.

They may look smart, but they're more 'minging' than jeans.

I look down woman top in classy jean. She appreciate.

Some of you must be doing laundry 3 times a week. Or I suppose you have large wardrobes.

I felt compelled to change my jeans after reading the replies. They still had another 2 days in them I thought. It's not the lack of fresh trousers causing the pungent stench, so often found aboard busses. It's the infrequent acquaintence some peple have with soap.

I'm another one that washes jeans based either on how they 'feel', or when I spill food on them. Whichever happens first.

Anywhere between 3 and 17 days at a guess . .

Depends. Usually about 3-4 wears for jeans. I have a high turnover in work trackie bottoms (about 3 pairs a week:eek: ), but thats usually because I've spilt something on them - yes, I KNOW I'm a messy cow :o .

I guess young people can wear jeans for much longer these days as the tops of them never seem to come anywhere near their arse.

you've spelt "brains" wrongly, OU. not quite sure what having brains has got to do with doing loads of laundry, though
