He sounds like every other formerly relevant popstar who likes to tell everyone how much better and realer it was in the old days. I don't know why he is being taken seriously as a commentator when he doesn't have anything to say apart from about rosy childhood reminiscences. At this rate he will become as bad as Melvin Bragg. Also, if the acts he has chosen for this thing represent interesting independent music, then we're fucked.
