How is it musical snobbery if someone disses the music you like?
You do have appalling taste though Mr Shat

Leave him alone...his music is fab, uplifting and funky.
And in concert, he is a legend.

I defy anyone not to buy his music and not tap their foot at the very least.

He's an arse.

The first two albums were great. Well worth a listen if you are into that sort of easy-listening, summery type music.

Jamiroquai are shit now though. A bit past their time (early 90's).

<puts very heavy boots on with lumps of lead in the instep and "taps" very firmly and decisively on Jamiroquai's head>

Mind you I didn't buy it, I just get that urge when I'm unlucky enough to hear it.

I saw him once. A gig at the fridge. He was the next big thing, just signed to Acid Jazz I think. I hadn't heard the music yet, I don't think, just favourable reviews and such.
- Only time I've ever fell asleep at a gig. Awful.
He's only got progressively worse since.

My brother in law worked on his latest album, he'd be a popular chappie round here.

I don't like them either.

My nephew, who's 2 on Saturday told me to turn off the Wombles and to put on Jamiroquai, he obviously has bad (dad induced) taste. :D

My faith in U-75 has been restored by the massive majority who say burn him, his hats & his fast cars, not forgeting his records..

Awful ego-monster trotting out cod-sub-Stevie Wonder nonsense.

Good videos though.

i think there's something on the sleeve notes of his first album that says something about "don't compare him to stevie wonder" ; probably next to another part about not looking at him directly in the eyes.

Which, if you think about it, means precisely the opposite.

Can we please stop making the comparison between J and Stevie Wonder - there just isn't a comparsion that can be made! (even allowing for the fact that Wonder hasn't really produced much of interest in recent years).

BB :)

I liked his early stuff.

Dancing to Space Cowboy in the early 90's with my first love and her gorgeous mates in Ibiza was great stuff!

Thing is he hasn't really moved on from that sound and it's a bit dull now...

An idea and a title which he stole off Sly Stone - what a cheeky little prick he is! I never thought I could despise him any more that I did, until I saw him a few years back cavorting round Portobello market with Denise van Outen... which was fine in itself, but did he really need 3 bodyguards with him?! (I assume they were his, not hers!) I mean, I've seen Madonna and Guy down the pub round there on their own, and if they didn't need any heavies with them, I don't see why the Twat in the Hat needed any. Tosser!

Has released some really good records and does have a very good voice. Seems a lot less of an arse since he gave up cocaine (in light of that photographer thing).

If you like that sort of thing look out for Nate James (from Suffolk), much better in my opinion.
