We will miss you. We will be coming along on Saturday, me and the foal.

...I will miss them too as we spent some of day 2 of last year's with them which was a really lovely couple of hours. :)

I was wondering just yesterday how you and your boy were doing. If I go then I hope I see you. xxxx
Being arm twisted towards Love Box but my bank is saying no and I did love both days at the LC fair last year.

I'll definitely make the Sunday but not sure about the Saturday yet. Maybe make Sat too, but only for a bit if I do.

spare a thought for the organisers - my cousin was up at four this am getting things ready to make it look pretty.:)

I'm a bit perplexed by the combination on offer in the village green this year

I will be there both days - Sat for the full day and on a stall during the morning but running free in the afternoon and hoping to meet up with the usual suspects.

Sunday I will prolly be nursing a cider hangover and a bit later, but with new born baby in tow. (not mine thankfully! :D )

Free!!!!

Levi Roots, Horace Andy and the Marley boys** ... :)

:)

**ETA Tues afternoon : No, NOT the Marley boys (Damian and Stephen, Bob's sons) -- just a Marley tribute act as posts on the next page make clearer :o

i have to rememeber to actually make it this year...

if just for the cider

also i can't help but giggle over the line up.... baka hehehe... i have the humour of a 4 year old

Are the Tigers Motorbike team the same one as last year on the green noisy bikes?

Would prefer the Honda Imps to make a return :)

Definitely going on both days. Seem to have heard scores of people discussing Chucklehead excess- the biggest worry shouldn't be the weather, it's the fear that they may run out of cider.

Anyway what is "Legend – The Bob Marley Experience"

Buggered if I've ever heard of them, presumably if it was some of the Wailers they'd say so. Surely they haven't dug out some more talentless, wagon-jumping progeny to jump about shouting "Awoy woy woy"?
It's bad enough having every ageing reggae singer break into a Marley medley when they start to lose the audience, do we really need this?

They ALWAYS run out before the end of Sunday - they told me they just don't have enough trucks

They're just a tribute band, surely?

reckon it might be

LEGEND are eight great musicians and singers dedicated to the life and music of the late, great Bob Marley

This dynamic band, led by the charismatic Michael Anton Phillips (Cheesy) has a pedigree second to none

The musicianship is flawless, with that irresistable reggae groove compelling you to move and the presence of Bob Marley himself invoked in the skilled and respectful portrayal by Michael.

Still, let us not be put off - wish the terrier racing was on again this year, there's not much funnier than terriers going over small fences :D

Yeah but I want to know who they are and what's so good about them that they get to headline on Saturday night.

Crikey, that looks painful. And the singer's called Cheesy.
Still, they'll probably go down a storm, good luck to them.

They do Bob Marley covers - that's all you need to know

<edit -- fucked up>

I thought it was the actual Marley boys -- Damian and Stephen, Bob's sons, who were at Glastonbury playing several sets together and separately, live and DJ.

But it clearly isn't them, on a slightly closer look :o

You are joking. Damian Marley and Stephen Marley? For free? On my doorstep? It'd be a total Traffic Jam but still Beautiful to see. I can't believe it is going to be those two though...
