I had second thoughts about the privacy implications of the webcam. On sunday, when I went to the market to get the weekly veg, I asked some of the people on the high st. if they minded having a webcam on them. The general response was "I don't mind, but I don't like being followed or targeted"
With that in mind, I've pointed the camera away from an angle where you can actually recognise anyone as more than a few blobby pixels, and turned off the steering controls. This means glare in the morning - I'll try and make a sunshade.
Does that seem reasonable to people?
