Y'know what? I don't like this song. I know that you're supposed to & I've enjoyed other Pogues stuff as well as the odd Kirsty Maccoll song but this just rubs me up the wrong way. I think that because it's a "proper" song as opposed to a novelty xmas tune it gets cained on radio/pub jukeboxes/tv shows/etc so has ended up being played to death.
