This annoys me something chronic but the whole idea of making someone who is clearly good at their job do something else that isn't their specialised area. Roeder is an outstanding Academy manager/coach, the work Roeder and Lampard Snr did at WHU while Redknapp played the press was responsible for their premiership status.

Leave Roeder to sort out the academy, and leave academy managers to do their jobs!
