Much closer to 'Blue Jam' than the first series which was a LOT lighter. Not as funny as I hoped/expected.

Kinda like 'Extras' tho - it's more surreal comedy/drama than straight dark humour. I rarely laughed with Extras but felt it was an excellent set of portraits of the ordinary against the un-ordinary that had humour as a 'bonus'.

Iemanja - it's still the same crew AFAIK - certainly it's still all Julia Davies' (Jill) writing.

There are still some good moments, of course, like the 'Roll On, Roll Off' massage , so it's not all bad...
