Items of clothing/shoes you really can't stand...

and i gave the law a swift kick in the ribs whilst it lay bleeding on the floor after you'd finished with it.

cardigans

i want a college cardigan. preferably with a big D on the chest.

Letterman! I did a google for letterman cardigan/sweater as I thought that might look quite good.

But after that google I am not so sure.

:hmm:

Those extreme harem pants that have the crotches below the knees. I mean, srsly wtf? They're truly awful. I don't think I object to any clothing as much as to those.
But also:
Leggings worn by themselves make me feel like I've inadvertently walked into a changing room.
Anything with tassels (that isn't worn for religious purposes).

There's something very wrong with criticising an item of clothing on the grounds that it is "pointless". If we stuck to purely functional items that have no alternatives, we'd all be wearing the same thing.

If you don't like city shorts (I'd never heard of them before myself, but there you go) then you don't like them because you don't like them. Saying you don't like them because you could just wear a skirt instead is stoopid.

You could wear a skirt instead because it would look BETTER, is the point.

Sleeveless shirts get on me tits. A sleevless shirt with a pen-pocket is even worse. What kind of a sick fucker invented such a thing?

Ugg boots are just wrong, especially when worn with skirts and dresses. I've been wearing slippers round the house for YEARS that are identical to ugg boots. I'd never dream of wearing anything like that outside the house. Aside from looking stupid, they destroy your feet. For gods sake, they're bloody granny slippers!!!
And they cost a riddiculous fortune aswell.
Paying £90 plus for a pair of granny slippers  why????

I love harem pants, but I did get the crotch of mine jammed round my bike seat yesterday :o
I love shorts, wear them more than skirts.

I am really, really, sick of dominatrix platform shoes - just bought Elle and it's full of them again. I've been sick of them for about a year now, I wish they would go away.

yep, there have been some really fucking foul shoes around lately. it seems like as long as it's got a fuck-off heel, it doesn't matter how ugly it looks - people will buy it.

Fringed items, and anything 'folk'. Yuk yuk yuk.

Those strange vests that are kind of tent-like, but you need another vest underneath or they'd be indecent, and when you try them on, are actually more like dresses, but add about a stone to your visual weight. I'm actually not sure what they are, but Topshop have loads of them.

Anyway, them.

I hate those jeans with the weirdy faded line down the front of the legs, I think they're meant to look cool and distressed/faded but they look weird.

Foregin students wear them.

even worse with sparkly plastic jewels on them.

or lacing up the legs.

or across the back.

and the worst offenders sometimes have all that, plus lace.
