Pointless specualtion of course but he reckons the stated target of 35 medals is well short of what the Team GB top brass reckon they're actually gonna get. Projections based on world championship records etc in run up to the games.
For the record - GB have targeted 41 medals and reckon they'll win 35. Target of 10-12 golds. Athens gave GB 30 medals with 9 golds.
