It was 81 years ago today!

Tidy. Just for the record, I think that you AND my fellow Bloobird 1927 are wrong on this. Pride in sporting successes before your birth = FAIL

Doesn't matter, i can't help but be proud considering the amount of times ive seen it/heard about it. Bit different from winning the fa cup in 1927,lol.

fuck me, he was only celebrating the history and achievements of the club he supports and we end up with all this.

18 years ago next week we won Division Three but I'll be careful not to mention it on here now.

Yeah JTG, thats urban for ya though, they will bitch and bitch, i dont get this from people anywhere else, maybe cause they actually have better things to do i guess. Everyone in england i know is proud of the country winning the world cup, as it was a major moment in our history. Just as i can accept winning the fa cup was a major moment in cardiffs history. Course ya gonna be proud of it, its part of what makes your team or country what it is today.

You're right. It was *the* major moment in our history.

I can't feel proud of a moment that I had no part of, however. The FA cup of 1927 was won by a team that I, and probably the majority of City fans, couldn't even name.

I felt no eager anticipation prior to the match. I din't speculate about the result with friends. I didn't watch it, and I didn't savour its finer moments in the pub afterwards. It was, after all, about 50 years before I was born.

Fairly meaningless to me, really. As I say, it's great that we won it and all that, and it's nice to have the special corner flags, but further to that.....*checks*....nah, nothing, really :)

Ahhh. Hugs all round?

Well fair enough, but not everybody thinks like you. (no offence meant by that, btw)

Well if you call yourself a city fan and cant name the 27 team I think you should be ashamed of yeself and I hope you havent got a ticket for this cup final, so there!

I do and I can't. Reckon I earned my stripes on rainy terraces when we were back in the old 4th division, though.

Maybe Cardiff are going to win the FA Cup this year in the last season that the FA cup is played. (After catastrophe strikes in the second half of 2008)

It will then become one of the those pub quiz questions. Which was the last English club to win the FA Cup?

Answer: Chelsea 2007

What the feck are you on about??

Tell me about it. I don't know if it would be a good thing if Cardiff won this year or not. We'd hear the end of 1927 but probably have to listen to them for fucking YEARS with a new vigour.

You're absolutely right. If Cardiff win the FA Cup this year everyone will have to listen to it for DECADES. I will never shut up about, it will be dropped into every single football conversation for the rest of my life. :D:D
