Israeli holiday

Israeli carrots taste rather like dust, as though they had never encountered soil :( It's no good if root vegetables taste dusty.
Why does Israel want to grow carrots anyway? Let the Bedouin farm. It would be more appropriate to bequeath them agricultural colleges and technology, and improve their techniques, rather than try to force their removal to towns in indusrtrial areas with legal tricks and illegal criminal damage such as crop spraying to kill the crop.

Zionist politics has created an enormous number of social problems, and it sounds to me as though the wisest Hebrews are not in charge. Time to stop fighting, and think long term. It's no good imagining a threat at every front. The greatest threat(s) always come from within.

jerusalem would be a wonderful place for a holiday, i think i might go there next year before things go arhwbabababasnzzzzzz

Tangent: Leave our carrots alone.

Actually almost all Bedua are vehemently resistant to farming although traditionally they have tended to wqork in the agricultural sector. In Galilee some Bedua settlements are taking to it but it has not been easy. In the Negev practically none are getting into it although a great many stil work in the flower industry.

Aside from a very old case winding its way through the Apellate branches [over 300,000 dunums of land in the Negev], the over whelming majority of Bedua are fiercely loyal to the state. There is a Bedua batallion in the IDF and many work as border ptrolmen and in other law enforcement positions.
