Israel can be a hard place to go - as England found out when they only drew there. And as they say, the table don't lie.
If England get the point against Croatia, they'll have earned their qualification and Russia will deservedly to be out. If England lose to Croatia, it'll be them who is deservedly out. Simple really

If England had put in that performance tonight against Israel then they'd rightly be crucified by the press tomorrow. But Russia are hopeless away from from their own frozen plastic pitch conditions, and tonight proved that.
England still might not qualify - and arguably don't deserve to either - but someone else has to go through with Croatia - who are currently losing 1-0 to Macedonia with about 2 mins left! - and for the good of the tournament next year it might as well be England.
