Rose: But don't you see? My jumping through hoops will not solve anything. It is not even a matter of prinicple for me. I would certainly admit to anything to be able to enjoy valid discourse but this forum, and almost the site, is shot through to hell with people who are miserable.
Today I say "wrong," and tonight I will again be called every name in the book. Do you know the very first day I posted here I was cursed by 3 people, 2 of whom still post here . It is just the nature of of this forum. so, in short, I would not waste my time apologising for soemthing I have no place apologising for.
If these people really cared about these issues they would use their middle finger to either do a valid online search or very simply use their phone to call the relevant sources to satisfy their curiosity. The thing is, they do not even care enough to show me up! If they are so sure I am wrong they would so what I just said and prove it but instead they would much rather sit here calling names and acting like toddlers.
If I were the whining party I would simply call UVDA or better yet the Justice Ministry and ask for a fax. I would then scan it and gloat for however long it floated my boat. Calling names though is far better recreation for some.
I do appreciate you actually trying to find answers, I respect that but I do have to point out that you are at least partially wrong [altough unless I wish to stay on that treadmill I will keep it to myself].
I will respond to one of the miscreants today:
Panda: I did say I could provide proof and of course I can. Anyone can. All it take is a tad bit of effort. I also said that I would so when I finished with my service as I am too taxed for time. the reult? Cursed over and over and over. You are not better than the others. This is nothing but a game to people like you but I live and breathe this every day. So while you sit in England or wherever it is that you live, I will will continue living my life and putting convictions into actions.
It is my understanding that forums like this are created so that people of divergent opinion may meet and share their thoughts. It is also my understanding, and is in fact plainly stated by this site's administrators that expletives and ad hom attacks are not to be tolerated...and yet we have this nonsense.
I was called a liar before this issue ever came to light. I was cursed, as I have said, my very first post when I explained who I was and what my hopes for posting here were. Privately, in p.m.s, more than a few normal [relative term] have chided me for even imagining that civility could exist here and tsked tsked me for persisting in my innocently hoping. A couple of other "normal" people have pleaded with me to stay and continue to present a perspective that is often invisble on left leaning boards like this.
It has just occurred to me that posting here is a total waste of time and despite what a few nice people might say, the majority of people here would not behave differently if their requested sources were spoonfed to them. As I so often say, I am taxed for time. Ergo, I will leave this site to people like you to share each others' nearly identical opinions and total lack of subjective expereince and go on my merry way.
I will from time to time possibly post in other forums on this site but I will leave this forum alone because it is an utter waste. Rose, at least this should solve one problem, right?
To the board in general: I do hope that at least once in your lives you invest in an airline ticket and actually come here and expereince BOTH sides of a very complex situation. Nothing is ever vblack and white. good luck even to the nasty people.
