Is there anyone on this site who doesn't love In Bruges?

There's been a few supposedly underwhelming winners over the years though - it's definitely not about having a huge budget. We'll see, anyway. Is Into the Wild eligible for this year?

I have seen it and thought it was a brilliant watch but deffinatly not in my top 20 and not Oscar material.

In to the Wild however jumped straight in to my top 20 and I would love to see get some recognition.

I think Sadken's adoration is a little over the top.

For the benefit of danny, it's alright, got that Film4 feel about it, passes an hour and a half, but not brilliant.

In fact thinking about it, yeah you should get it out of yer local DVD emporium, it's worth a watch. :)

OK, thanks. Might do that.

It's not filth, is it?

Well, between you and Chris I'm going with you.

So, it's about Bruges, and not Cambridge at all. Nor is Foo in fact in it.

What else do I need to know?

Good man, you made the right choice. Now, we don't have much time, you're gonna have to trust me. Watch this film. This film is a very funny film and there is a high chance you will laugh out loud. That's also known as a LOL. If you watch this film with several friends then you are highly likely to feel that it was a pleasant and enjoyable way to pass an evening or day time if you have no life or lack motivation.

Danny, I promise you this film is good.

Is he proper Ray Winstone-ish then? That would definitely be a problem for me.

It's not his most Winstoneish performance, but he's Ray enough to annoy you. Shame, one of the best films in recent years. I don't like Mr Kingsley much, but his performance in SB is breathtaking.
