I said 'you hide your opposition to imigration controls' - that is, I fully recognise that you oppose them, but you do so very quietly, which is hardly 'complte and utter honesty', it is in fact treating working-class people like fools you hope to almost hoodwink.

as to muslims & the SWP, maybe you have heard individuals saying that, or maybe not, however it is easilly provable that they have never made any such utterance in their journals etc, to say it is 'absolutely clear' is a nonsense. If it was so, you would be able to provide some evidence for it. But you havent done so, & I have to assume that that is because you cant do so. Not one iota of actual evidence.

I'm not a member or supporter of the SWP or RESPECT and as I've stated in the past I've nothing against criticising the dogmatism of the former or the opportunism of the latter.

But at least make the criticism intelligent. Your OP and bogus poll imply that the SWP "line" on the war on terror is that it is a war against Islam. As this appears in none of the SWP literature, which argues this is war in persuit of imperialist interests, your argument falls down.

Now you shift the goal posts saying that some SWPers are saying this in the streets to Muslims. Thats just hearsay and of no value at all. Its like me saying I've heard members of "Hackney Independent" pushing an anti-immigration massage to try and win votes and then starting a thread entitled "Is the HIs saying that immigration is the main problem afffecting working class Britains today their worst lie?".

I doubt you'd be too impressed with that.

fair point but actually this is what i wanted out of the thread .. of course the SW do not put this on their front page .. but they have used it in TH on the streets .. do you think they rubbished GG when he twice publically said it??? before an election????

re HI yes i appreciate what you are saying but i can say we rarely talk about immigration on the doorstep .. more boring stuff i am afraid ..usually housing .. though as you know i do think the use of immigration is a key weapon for the neo libs currently ..

.. the point here though is we do have the Respect/GG evidence and anecdotal evidence re SW recycling this ..

and er you haveh't heard anyone from HI saying about immigration being etc etc have you.. which is also the point

It wopuld be like, rather than Joes example, a thread 'Hackney Independent support the Tories' - on the basis that one of your sponsored candidates signed a tory's nomination papers.
