thanks LL. looking forward to getting the thread ratings working again. perhaps the reason that ed's experiment with thread ratings wasn't very successful was because of the fault. let's hope we're given another chance when the next version of vbulletin is released.
It was working just fine when you started three threads but couldn't be bothered to add a rating yourself.
It's not allowing anyone to rate the thread apart from the person who started it. How is that useful?
It's not useful in the slightest, but we are being slated for not using it.
Err.. no.thanks LL. looking forward to getting the thread ratings working again. perhaps the reason that ed's experiment with thread ratings wasn't very successful was because of the fault.
it can't be that painful, this thread has got 4 stars.Your rabble-rousing cod-outrage over a feature that is so little used that not a soul has complained about it passing away is truly a painful sight to behold.
Shush, I'm fiddling....it can't be that painful, this thread has got 4 stars.
PMSLAre you on some kind of commission from a blood pressure drug marketing company?

If it's not useful why are you so keen to see it? Surely you pre-judge? And I'm not sure "popular opinion" is, or ever has been with you.

*fans Onket*
it's certainly not useful while it's broken. 4 star thread.

Haven't you got anything better to get worked up about?
The hard facts: 400 threads in this forum and just 2 with ratings. Two!The rating feature (if it was actually working then) was available on 3 of the many, many threads I have started- I don't think I can really be blamed for missing it at the time I started those threads. Obviously you can blame me, but then you'll twist any figures so they support your arguement.
Feel proud. You are one of the few.I rated one of those threads <feels proud>

The sole active thread with ratings was clearly visible as it was on the Apple thread which has remained on the front page of this forum for well over a year.

Maths failThe hard facts:
Onket: 415 threads started, 3 in this forum. That's less than 0.008 percent.

So why do you think no one bothered to use the ratings system after it was clearly announced and discussed, and remained visible for nearly two years? Any ideas?
Why didn't you use it? Why doesn't anyone use it? It's not like this is a quiet forum or anything, or one where people don't have strong opinions or post up interesting threads.
If beta testing were applied to humans, you'd never have been released.I don't know what beta testing is, but thanks again.

If you waste any more of my time today with pointless threads and FAQ-breaking tags having a go at me, I'll be banning you for 24 hours without further discussion.Just to explain- I did that thread to see if there was any option to add the option to rate the thread when you start it.
For the record, there wasn't. It happened automatically. I was about to ask for it to be locked, so thanks for doing that for me, editor.![]()
