I thought Sunday nights featured a superb piece of comedy when showed and read out words on screen that Labour had used to describe people they dont like or needed to 'do something about'. Very effective I thought and very amusing. Mind i was stoned.
Occassional humour, but I find a lot of it pretty flat.
I disagree with the comparison with Private Eye, which continues to provide incisive and humourous content that is not provided by any other part of the UK press, a press that really does fancy itself.
Its over long, over written and despreately needs the immediate, quick, savage satiriacal slashing of the likes of Steve Bell at his best - rather than the well trodden paths of an insiders gentle mockery of whitehall mandarins the commons tea room.
