Is my bike costing me a fortune?

If I had a fixie I'd definitely die. It's a close run thing as it is.

I might buy a road bike of some description, but I'm not sure I have the room, or would get enough use out of both together.

Heh... no idea... symmetry maybe

There was a reason or at least some semblance of logic, but I've no idea what it was, and I'm sure there isn't now.

I just have no friends or hobbies :(

e2a: mainly I can afford to do this cos I haven't got a car - even if it costs me the calculated £500 a year just to keep going, it's half the price of the train, waaaay cheaper than owning a car, and I have to get to work somehow...

In my part of town, with a car I can't easily throw a bike in the back of, I'm stuck with Dave Bater - where they all laugh at me. :(

Been taken over now - one shop on Park street, what used to be Garlands in Bedminster and one in Downend.

(my lights come from places like B&Q, ASDA and IKEA :D )

You should try Bristol Bicycle Workshop on Colston hill, they're really nice and you don't get any of that elitist wank.
I'm just an ordinary commuter leisure cyclist and they always give me clear concise advice even if it means not making a sale.
