Well he's a much better comedian than he is a singer.
You should hear him play piano!
No one's laughing on this thread .. there's no jokes or anything .. not a sausage.
obviously. being a mozza thread.
Not even a veggie sausage.
It's that bad.
only in a laugh at him in pity kind of way.
(the hearing aid was worn for one of his fans. he can be sweet)
LOL I was gonna reply ''he's not funny but he's a twat''.....the guys a twat
Is this thread by any chance inspired by his appaerance on Shameless on C4?
Yes. Although his dryness is lost on some people.
I listened to a rush and a push on repeat all the way on my walk to college this morning, and a very enjoyable walk it was too (apart from the steel toe caps ).
Good choice, me!
No, he completely irritates me...
what irritates me even more are my students who try to imitate his cockiness and look.
i thought he was funny on that Ross interview...
dunno when he did it though.
Reel around the fountain
Slap me on the patio
I'll take it now
"What she asked of me at the end of the day, Caligula would have blushed"
Taking the piss out of himself in a camp way = amusing.
He can be very funny, but I think his best songs are when he plays it totally straight - no witticisms, no self-depreciatory quips, just heartfelt stuff about being loved and unloved and everything in between.
When he held up that placard saying '2 light ales please' when I saw the Smiths, now that was funny!
morrissey is really funny - a natural comedian singer (deliberate) and politik (lol).
i think he's a funny man
"Hand in glove
The sun shines out of our behinds
No, it's not like any other love
This one is different - because it's us" makes me smile like a crazy lady.
i liked the thing he did with PETA against Iams' testing on dogs and cats about five years ago.
pets love morrissey
Morrissey expresses sympathy for jailed EDL founder Tommy Robinson
PETA certainly have a kind of slapstick absurdist thing going on.
He's a fucking embarrassment these days.
if only he'd died 15 or 20 years ago he'd be as celebrated as kurt cobain
he's funny. funny peculiar.
he is touring innit. Still plenty of tickets available. I am sure Anne Marie can rustle up some patriotic fellow travellers to bolster the meagre turnout
Well, exactly. I shudder to think how embarassing John Lennon would be by this point.
Christ. If KC turned out to be as much of a twat as morrissey. There's a reason the 27 club exists
KC? Keith Chegwin?
Did you read the post I was responding to
